Essential Skills Trainer

Join us and your challenge will be to enable each learner to achieve those skills in line with current national standards. You will prepare and plan for the effective delivery of training and maintain records of learners` progress. 

Supporting the further development of Essential Skills within JTL and conducting verification and moderation activities are other key elements of a role that also involves extensive liaison with regional colleagues.

With a teaching or training qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, your experience gained within a post 16 environment has given you a good grasp of Essential Skills requirements and assessment. 

Although based from home, you will need to live in Wales and be willing to travel regularly.

Essential Requirements: 
Teaching Qualification or CTTLS or equivalent at level 3 or above. Current and valid registration with the IFL. Previous experience of KS/FS/ESW delivery within a post-16 environment at Level 1 or 2 with knowledge and understanding of KS/FS/ESW requirements and assessment. Satisfactory completion of medical questionnaire in compliance with current Fitness to Teach legislation.
