Residential Support/Care Workers –  WEEKENDS ONLY CONTRACTS

Cheadle Hulme, near Handforth

Salary range: £15,773 - £17,584 pro rata per annum

Holidays:  Year 1 is 33 days, rising to 38 including bank holidays after 5 years

What are we looking for?

We are recruiting for talented Weekend Only Residential Support Workers to join our expert Care Teams!  The positions are for our Children’s homes, Young Adults’ homes and for our Short Breaks/Respite Services in our state of the art 4 bedroom homes on site at Cheadle Hulme near Handforth.   Experience in a care/support role is preferred but not essential as we provide training on Induction.    Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or Health & Social Care advantageous.  So if you are passionate about providing care and support, have the right attitude and share our values, then we’d like to hear from you!

What are the roles?

These are permanent weekend only roles and will involve providing daily care and support for our students outside the classroom including personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, communication, independent living skills, education and leisure activities.  Some challenging behaviours may present, so similar experience is advantageous but not essential.

What are the hours?

  • Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays OR  Saturdays and Sundays only
  • early shifts between 7.30am – 3.00pm
  • Late shifts between 3pm – 10.00pm
  • We can consider early shifts only or late shifts only or a flexible combination
