We are currently recruiting at Cheddar George & Caves for the 2017 season and have opportunities to work as a Tour Guide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Tour Guide is a fabulous opportunity to be an ambassador for the company by taking groups of guests throughout our magnificent site, delivering informative and engaging tours. Our guides ensure that our guests have a wonderful experience, and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed expectations, delivering prompt and professional attention.
ABOUT YOU
As a Tour Guide you would need a willingness to learn, have a great sense of humor and be committed to working as part of a team.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be confident in public speaking, with a passion for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the highest standards. You will be knowledgeable on all products sold, and be able to help guests with a range of queries. You will be able to work under pressure, maintaining exceptional service standards at the busiest of times.
HOURS OF WORK
There are roles available on a fixed term basis. Hours may vary occasionally to include evenings and weekends given the nature of our business.
