Assisting with the maximization of sales and profit across the organisation through the development and delivery of excellent customer service and operational standards, the Operations Administrator also contributes to the provision of quality services by providing complex and confidential administrative support in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Administrator

- Use of SAP business one to proactively generate drum collection Business Partners and collection requests.

- Develop & maintain relationships with customers providing high calibre support and efficient service

- Maintenance of SAP databases including Business partners, Drum collection activity and Drum stocks

- Month end stock values and drum rentals

- Filing & indexing of problem, improvement and near miss report forms and issuing to relevant Managers for resolution.

- Issue and monitoring of annual duty of care certificates for all waste customers

- Completion of Customer compliance questionnaires.

- General admin support to HR & Compliance Manager as and when required (To include verbal / written communications and reporting)

- Answering the telephone, directing calls to appropriate staff / Greeting visitors to site.

- Highlighting & reporting of issues / non-conformances using the problem report procedure.

- Preparation & filing of the company’s commercial correspondence, documentation etc in line with agreed procedures

- Minimising waste by reusing & recycling materials where possible.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required by the Operations Administrator

Essential

- Maths GCSE grade C or higher

- English GCSE grade C or higher

- Demonstrable IT skills with Microsoft Excel, Access & Word essential

- Good communication skills, particularly verbal

- Good time management skills

- Ability to prioritise a range of different tasks

- Excellent Customer service skills

Desirable

- NVQ level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration

- Knowledge / experience of SAP business one software

- The ability & willingness to learn quickly and adapt to enable cover of other office roles, during holiday and busy periods

- To be responsive, self motivated and innovative
