Valmar are the UK’s leading Sideloader Manufacturer who distribute to companies both in the UK and Europe. Due to continued expansion within our service business we are seeking to recruit a further Experienced Technical Service Controller for our East Kilbride Operation.
Technical Service Controller
The role will include dealing with customer service calls, allocating jobs to our field service engineers, issuing spare parts as required, preparing quotes and estimates, monitoring service contracts and all other related duties in the service / aftersales department.
The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the service department on a month to month basis and planning forward to improve and streamline the operation.
The suitable candidate must have excellent IT and communication skills, be highly motivated with good organisational skills and attention to detail is essential.
Mechanical Handling Knowledge is essential and past experience in a similar role an advantage.
