Junior Sales Executive - Print

Junior Print Sales Executive to cover the Brighton, Crawley and Eastbourne area.

This company is one of the UK's market-leaders for large-format visual communications specialising in the supply of large-format advertising solutions for the UK Out-of-Home and Event sectors.

This company was formed in 1992 and employs 23 staff at its 22,320 sq. ft factory in Newhaven, Part of the international group that was formed in 1988 and based in Haute-Rivoire, France, the group has subsidiaries in ten countries with an annual turnover of €50m.

The role would suit someone who is looking to pursue a career in print sales, focusing on the indoor and outdoor banner market.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Source and service new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on potential sales prospects
- Prepare and present sales presentations by researching the sales prospect
- Focus sales efforts by studying revenue potential of all new prospects
- Submit competitive quotations using the Rate Card
- Obtain Sales Orders
- Submit Sales Orders and all related information to the Operations Executives in Newhaven
- Update and maintain all sales activity on the CRM system
- Keep Sales Director informed of all sales activity by submitting; daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly territory analysis
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products
- Resolve customer complaints & disputes by investigating the problem and developing a solution in a timely fashion
- Maintain professional and market knowledge by monitoring the industry and trade press
- Attend monthly Sales meetings in Newhaven

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, out-going, self-confident, hard-working, energetic and results-driven. You will be tasked with establishing, nurturing and growing their own portfolio of customers.

The package includes a starting salary of £22,800 pa + commission scheme, 25 days annual leave, pension, laptop & phone.

Previous experience of the print trade would be a distinct advantage.
