Job Title: Marketing and Design Assistant

Location: Bradford

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000

Job Hours: Full time and perm (40 hours per week)

A market leading home improvement seeks to recruit a Marketing Assistant for an exciting new position within its Marketing Department.

Position overview:

Your role will be heavily weighted towards design and artwork. As the UK's number one, the company needs you to help them to stay ahead of the game through informative and creative design. Working closely with the rest of the team and other departments, you will assist in the collation and design of various sales / marketing materials including our company magazine and in-house literature.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist in the collation and design of the monthly company magazine
• Designing of sales and marketing materials
• Producing a variety of in-house literature
• Preparing print ready artwork
• Ad hoc design and admin where required
• General departmental assistance
• Working with various departments and external printers

The Candidate

As part of the growing team they are looking for fresh, creative and talented candidates to join their busy in-house marketing department.

Key personal skills:

• Creative thinking and design
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office suite
• The ability to multitask, organize and prioritise
• Good communication skills
• Stay calm and perform under pressure
• Proactive and enthusiastic

Desirable skills:

• Experience using Corel Draw
• Good understanding of the printing process
