Staff Nurse - RGN Registered General Nurse - Sherbourne, Dorset, Near Yeovil - GBP16.10ph + enhancements - Permanent - Full Time or Days or Nights
I am looking for Registered General Nurses / RGN for a Large family run nursing home that specialises in the care of Residential, and General Nursing Care. The home is Medium in size and has an excellent CQC Report.
Hourly Rate: GBP16.10 ph + Weekend and Night enhancements of GBP18.90ph. Shifts: Days and Nights, Hours per week: 36 - 42
What the Candidate requires
- An RGN Qualification with Valid NMC Pin Number
- Previous nurse experience working with the elderly in a nursing home environment would be preferable
The Role
- Leading a team of Care Assistants, and ensuring they achieve high standards of care at all times
- Maintaining an open and honest communication style, and appropriately escalating any issues
- Being aware of and adhering to relevant legislations, guidelines and procedures by means of protecting residents` welfare
- Supervising junior and new members of staff in all aspects of their clinical work
- Maintaining Care Plans
- Completing medication rounds
