Engineering Administrator

Engineering Compliance Administrator, Peterborough

We are recruiting for an Engineering Administrator role on behalf of our leading Food Manufacturer, based in Peterborough.

Job Purpose:

• To provide the administration of all engineering compliance functions including planned maintenance and scheduling
• The role holder will be responsible for overseeing all of the general administration required to effectively support the different departments and engineering team.
• This person must make sure all employees understand and observe health and safety rules, be aware of the safety for themselves and others to promote a safe working environment.

General & Financial Administration Responsibilities include:

• Purchasing, Service Incidents and Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Stock Takes and Stock Ordering
• Engineer's Handover Sheets
• Time & Attendance for Department
• Training Records & Bookings
• Answering Phones
• Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP Systems and AutoCAD

Health & Safety and Compliance Competencies include:

• Overarching understanding of Health & Safety Legislation
• Understanding of H&S Regulations and Reporting Requirements for Engineering Dept

Planned Preventative Maintenance:

• Ability to plan and schedule work effectively utilising Engineering and Production resource
• Ability to create a Planned Preventative Maintenance system based on Manufacturers' recommendations and Engineers' experience
• Appointment of Contractors
• Commissioning
• Drawings & Specifications

Salary: £18,000 + Benefits
