An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in either Bury St Edmunds or Peterborough. As part of your role you will be assisting the Quantity Surveying team in managing all costs relating to building/engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures as well as minimising the costs of a project whilst enhancing value for money and achieving the required standards and quality.
To be successful within this role with this national main contractor you will be someone who has a brilliant work ethic, an eye for detail, the right attitude and keen to learn. You will ideally have A levels or equivalent and either looking to undertake an undergraduate degree. Support in completing this will be provided for the right candidate. Travel will form a major part of this role and so you will need to be flexible and hold a clean driving licence.
