We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our Accountancy team in Peterborough working for First Hamblin (Eastern) Ltd.

We are a family run business incorporating the following Automotive franchises:

• The Donalds Group – Ipswich, Stamford, Bury St. Edmunds and Peterborough.
• Sycamore BMW & Mini Peterborough.
• Sycamore Harley-Davidson Uppingham.

The main purpose of the role is to support the Senior Management function looking at business analysis, Taxation and produce monthly management accounts.

Effective project management and the ability to liaise with several General Managers will be required to ensure all information is accurate and received on time.

Other aspects of the role are:

• Project Management.
• Business Analysis.
• Supporting the Lead Accountant with producing monthly reports.
• Liaise with all Dealership departmental managers to provide an ongoing feedback and support service specifically relating to Management Accounts.
• Assess and provide an internal audit service to the Finance Function and within Dealerships where required.

We invite those who, preferably, hold a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACMA with proven experience of producing management accounts and are comfortable working with high volumes.

You will need to be at ease with working to deadlines drawing on your organisation and time management skills adaptable to change and proactive in your thinking.

Working Hours: 9 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: Negotiable for the right person + Pension
