Apprentice Photographer

Nuttersons is a design agency consisting of a small team of designers and developers who provide a broad range of design and web services to clients all over the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Photographer to work alongside our team.

The Role

The role includes:

• Assisting with creating and updating images for print and websites.
• Communicating with team members and clients.
• Assisting with managing projects from start to finish, including organising shoots.
• Assisting with installing and maintaining hardware and software.
• Assisting with retouching, manipulating, processing scanning, watermarking and key working images.
• Conception and implementation of own creative ideas.
• Management of image archiving and cataloging.
• Using social media to engage potential clients.

The Ideal Candidate

The right candidate must:

• Have good organisational and communication skills.
• Have an appetite for producing great-looking, effective images.
• Have experience using camera and editing software.
• Desire to work hard and develop their skills.
• Have a keen eye for detail.
• Be able to manage time effectively.

No formal qualifications are required.

This vacancy is part of the government apprenticeship programme. The successful candidate will spend one day a week at college, and four days a week in our offices gaining first-hand experience.
