Job Title: HMI/PLC Control and Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

The company is a leading global hydraulic manufacturer and distributor. The company now has a new vacancy for a C & I Engineer to work within our Electronic Systems Department in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of custom HMI/ PLC systems
• Work as part of electro-hydraulic system design team
• HMI / PLC programming of control systems
• Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from concept to design and installation
• Installation and configuration at customer sites throughout the UK

Key Requirements:

• Engineering or Computer related degree/HND or comparable industrial experience
• HMI screen design experience
• PLC software experience
• PLC system design
• Willingness to travel and work away when required
• Valid full driving licence
• Based in or willing to re-locate/commute to Witney, Oxfordshire

Personal Qualities:

• Confident and able to work on own initiative
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Flexible in working methods
