Nights Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge?
* The Company: Carry out extensive research and development in their field. Allowing them to manufacture the best quality products for the clients. The products produced are used in a variety of components within the aerospace, defence, automotive and energy industries.
* The Role: You will initially work the day shift with on the job training for the first 3 months. You will then move to the night shift where you will fault find and carryout reactive and planned maintenance on a range of machinery. In addition, you will also be responsible for some stock control.
* The Candidate: You will be a time served mechanically bias maintenance engineer from an industrial background that can display some electrical knowledge ideally having a recognised electrical qualification. You should have a knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs. My client is open to looking at maintenance engineers from paper, laundry, heavy plant or similar. Previous experience with mixing, rolling and packing machinery would be advantageous.
The Package:
* Basic Salary: GBP38k - GBP46k + Overtime
* 21 days' holiday plus statutory / Pension
