We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Mobile Electrician based in Livingston with Travel. Within the role, you will install, service and maintain electrical systems and appliances in commercial properties in accordance with the current edition of the wiring regulations. Ensuring that all reactive & PPM requirements are achieved for the designated business unit coupled with carrying out alterations and renewals as required.
Candidates for this role will be able install, repair, inspect and test electrical installations. With previous experience of maintaining a commercial building operation within a commercial contract environment, you will have completed of recognised trade apprenticeship. With the ability to demonstrate and understand PPM reactive maintenance, you will possess knowledge and understanding of energy/utilities management and renewable/sustainable energy provision.
The successful Mobile Electrician will ideally hold the following qualifications;
- City and Guilds 2360 parts 1 and 2 or
- NVQ Level 3 including AM2 or
- City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3, or from Sept 2011)
- City and Guilds 2357
- City and Guilds 2392 – Fundamental Certification, Inspection and Testing
- City and Guilds 2391
- City and Guilds 2382-10/12 or 2382-20 (17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations
- City and Guilds 2399 (Environmental and Renewable Technologies)
- Current 17th Edition Certificate for Electrical installations to BS7671:2008 (2011)
We are looking for an individual who is willing to succeed within our dynamic team and who can relate to clients positively, compromising and sensitively, communicating effectively. In addition, there is a level of flexibility required for this role due to extensive travel and occasionally working longer hours.
Candidates for this position will be required to form part of the on-call rota
Candidates for this role must hold a full driving licence.
