One of the world's leading producers of high quality fresh and prepared fruit are currently looking to recruit a Senior NPD Technologist at their Wisbech site in Cambridgeshire. The Role
Reporting to the Category & Innovations Manager and working in a close-knit team, in a lively, fun environment, you will be responsible for developing new products, and redeveloping existing products , running the whole project from brief, and concept right through to launch. Working largely on branded products, you will work across all major channels from retail, to foodservice, wholesale, and Food to Go, focussing solely on prepared fruit. You will be expected to keep abreast of the developing market, regularly meeting and working with customers to develop the right range of products, monitoring all macro food trends and driving the market using all of the latest information.

The Candidate
o Experience in an NPD role in food manufacturing environment, preferable chilled, short shelf-life products
o A deep understanding of the NPD process together with excellent project management skills
o A keen interest in food with knowledge of different market channels; retail, wholesale, food-to-go etc
o An understating of food health and safety regulations and a good grasp of HACCP
o A driven and confident individual with a hand on attitude and excellent communications skills
