Full time: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
This busy and growing company is looking for an individual with experience in office admin and finance. The key requirement is the willingness to take on genuine responsibility and work on your own initiative.
As a relatively small company, each member has a broad range of tasks from basic everyday paperwork to more important, long-term projects. They are looking for someone to accept the responsibility of a senior member, whilst also helping with the everyday tasks. They feel this would suit someone who also has a general interest in business, as you will experience many elements of a working company.
This is a good long-term opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious person with good organisational skills and who is capable of handling a wide range of assignments.
As the owner, they need someone who they can pass tasks to and be confident they will be well managed and looked after.
You must be comfortable on the phone as they receive incoming sales enquiries that need to be handled. After training you should also be happy to take such calls, discuss products and quote potential customers.
They use Sage Line 50 and are soon to implement a BRM software package to help streamline our workflow.
General duties:
- Answering the phone, directing the calls and speaking to potential customers
- Taking and processing incoming orders
- Fixing up transport and booking in customer deliveries
- Typing invoices
- Bank Reconcile
- Monthly supplier payment run
- Processing incoming payments
- Processing purchase invoices
- Credit control
- Stock control
There are many interdependent activities to process, so they require a good all-rounder with a natural sense of organisation.
Beneficial skills (please mention if any of these apply to you)
- Experience working with BRM or CRM systems
- IT skills, networks, websites
- Google adwords campaign management
- Artwork Design
- Marketing
They also have two dogs in the office (a male and female Rottweiler)
