The Digital Marketing Executive Opportunity:

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Digital Marketing Executive to join our exciting eCommerce start-up to manage SEO, PPC and email campaigns. Your main role will be to increase both paid and organic traffic to our websites and ultimately drive sales. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, your base, will be at our offices in West Thurrock, Essex. Although based in studio, you will be involved in location work so travelling is an essential requirement of this role.

Digital Marketing Executive Key responsibilities:

+ Plan and manage online marketing channels across projects, including SEO, PPC, email
+ Regular competitor analysis and keyword research, landing page and ad copy creation/optimisation
+ Regular site audits, applying on-page optimisation when required
+ Setting and reporting KPIs, data analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis
+ Managing marketing budget effectively and monitoring/improving ROI
+ Developing an effective and scalable link building strategy
+ Working closely with the Social Media Exec and Digital Designer to ensure effective content delivery across marketing channels (ads, banners, link acquisition, promotions)
+ Continually keeping up to date with the latest trends and insights in the industry

Necessary skills:

+ At least 2 years working on eCommerce platforms, ideally Magento
+ Must have experience in running Google and Bing Adwords campaigns
+ Experience in analytical packages such as Google Analytics
+ An understanding of scripting languages including HTML/CSS/PHP
+ Experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp and AWeber
+ Solid Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Instagram, Facebook experience
+ Experience with research tools such as Word Stream, MajesticSEO, Moz, SEMRush
+ Excellent organisational and time-keeping skills

Desirable skills:

+ Technical skills, and the ability to code is highly desirable
+ CRO, A/B testing and multivariate experiment experience
+ Affiliate marketing experience
+ A sound wine knowledge base
