Job Description
At Newton you will be working hands-on with client teams to generate sustainable results and real financial and operational improvement for some of the world's most innovative organisations. We have a track record of creating 10% to 50% improvement over two to six months, and we guarantee to improve the financial performance of any organisation by 1.5% to 5% of turnover at no risk to our clients through a unique no results, no fee model.

You will work with a team of bright, driven people on exciting projects across multiple sectors, delivering bottom line improvements for a wide variety of clients and industries. We’re growing fast and are looking for people who can quickly take responsibility, and have the entrepreneurial skills and personality to progress with us. You will undertake projects normally lasting between three and six months, and during this time you will be based on site at locations throughout the UK.  Between projects, you will be based at our offices in Oxfordshire.

Our Consultants work hands-on with organisations to help them get more out of their operational processes through identifying issues that limit cost, delivery and quality performance. This includes reviewing strategy, procedures and methods. Our Consultants then implement practical solutions that rapidly generate measurable, sustainable financial returns. They collect and analyse data to work out the areas that will have the largest impact for the client. Practical solutions are then agreed upon with the client and our teams work on site until the goals have been achieved. 

We look for people who have ambition and determination, who are confident, interesting, and enthusiastic. People who are degree educated with first-rate technical skills, and the ability to analyse and solve complex problems. On top of this, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator – someone who can mentor, motivate and develop the client teams you work with.

A successful candidate will have:

• A degree in a numerate discipline, preferably engineering, from a top university in the UK or overseas 
• Strong analytical skills and a technical mindset 
• Advanced numeracy skills 
• The ability to take a structured, reasoned approach to complex technical problems, including bringing structure to ambiguous environments 
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills 
• The confidence and gravitas to deal with the senior management teams within our clients 
• The potential to be a future leader at Newton
