About the job
The client requires the services of a Obsolescence Management Professional on a Permanent basis. This job includes:
Provide Support to the ILS Manager
Assist in the obsolescence management process
Initiate and undertake planning mitigation strategies, inclusive of risk assessment and analysis, resolution proposals, tracking and status reviews
You will be involved in the collection of metrics regarding obsolete components, software, alerts and closure
Assist in producing proposals and costs relating to Obsolescence Management and Component/Software Engineering.
Provide obsolescence solutions and advice for various projects
About you:
You will have a solid track record of experience in resolving obsolescence problems using obsolescence management techniques, preferably in the Defence domain.
Experience of tailoring working practices / processes to satisfy contractual requirements.
Experienced in developing control tools using MS Access and Excel.
