Guest Services Assistant: Bromley
Guest Services Assistant required for large services company based in Bromley, Kent.
The Role
As a vital member of the team the Guest Services Assistant will undertake multiple tasks such as concierge, reception, security, meeting room and floor management, computer and telephone bookings.
You’ll provide not only a welcoming employee and guest experience, but a professional and secure atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
From welcoming visitors, to answering phone calls or investigating disturbances, the Guest Services Assistant will be a visible presence, providing reassurance to all building users and answering any queries or requests. You’ll provide a professional, secure & warm employee a& guest experience.
• Providing a welcoming reception & customer care to an exemplary standard
• Greeting all visitors, staff and contractors confirming possession of valid ID
• Monitoring security cameras & completing security patrols
• Booking, managing & setting up meeting rooms & audio visual equipment
• Liaising with other departments as required, to complete any requests
• Answering phone enquiries promptly, regularly checking emails to ensure all messages are actioned
• Ensuring the efficient operation of touch point areas
• Flexible in an integrated team, sharing of all tasks and duties
• Organising Q&A sessions, assisting at events + evening functions
• Promoting client values
The Person
Successful candidate will need to demonstrate impeccable communication & customer service skills. Your can-do attitude will see that encounters at every level, internal or external, are professional and positive. You will need to work from your own initiative to resolve any issues as you complete all your duties to the highest standard.
You will ideally have hotel or concierge background. Above all you must be customer focused & security minded.
If you have obtained your SIA security licence that would be great…if not training will be provided.
Please note working hours are as follows;
- Working on a set 15-week shift rota
- Average 40 hours per week, between the hours of 06:00 and 22:30
- Will work one full week of nights in every 15 weeks
- Will work five weekends in every 15 weeks
In return you will receive a competitive base salary of £22,626 pa (dep on experience), + comprehensive benefits package inc generous holidays, pension, health + additional benefits
