Required - Experienced Systems Administrator to join their Service & Support team, assisting and reporting to the IT Manager.
Established for over 20 years with an enviable reputation for exceeding customer expectations the company has grown substantially both in terms of customers, range of services and staff. From a home computer shop repairing and selling systems we have changed with the demands of their customers and now offer PC Support, Hosted Services, Field Services and much more to over 100 businesses throughout the country. Their service & support department continues to grow due to a healthy demand from existing and new customers.

The Role:
Assisting and reporting directly to the IT Manager, responsible for setup, configuration, housekeeping, maintenance and troubleshooting of their remote hosted server infrastructure and customers on-premise servers. Also to assist helpdesk staff with troubleshooting more complicated support issues.
Ability to communicate with general members of the public an advantage but not a prerequisite :-)
Required Skills:
- Server 2008 R2 or above
- Exchange 2010, 2013 and above
- Virtualisation with Hyper-V
- Networking - LAN, WAN, VPN and VLAN
- Active Directory
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload
- Literate as precise and legible note taking required
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Min 2 years related experience
- BSc Computing or equivalent
- Microsoft Certification
