Located at our head office in Teddington, due to retirement, we now have a vacancy for an Executive Assistant to our new Chief Executive Officer.

The Role:
The purpose of the role is to provide the CEO with the professional support needed for them to be able to carry out their own role effectively and efficiently. The role holder provides comprehensive personal assistant and administrative support to the CEO.

Reporting directly to the CEO the successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Professional manner with an open, interpersonal style (an enabler of the CEO role, rather than a gate-keeper)
- Confidence to work with people at all levels within the company and with senior external contacts
- Ability to swiftly build positive and effective working relationships
- Total confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
- Networking and negotiation ability; internally to create seamless organisation of events / diaries, and externally to create the relationships needed to access customer and partner diaries quickly
- Ability to prioritise a busy and changing workload
- Flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure

The role holder will be responsible for:
- Full secretarial and administrative support to the CEO
- Organising the CEO's meetings and diary
- Preparing agendas and meeting papers
- Composing and preparing routine correspondence and reports on the CEO's behalf
- Managing video conferencing and telephone calls in multiple time zones
- Meeting, greeting and hosting visitors
- Arranging all aspects of the CEO's domestic and international travel
- Administration of the CEOs expenses

Additional requirements for the role holder include:
- At least 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant at Director or Managing Director level
- Experience of working in an engineering, defence, consulting or related industry
- Experience of working in a global environment and with different cultures
- Desirable: business, administrative or equivalent qualification

Salary will be commensurate with knowledge, skills and experience. Benefits include:
