SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP16,000 - GBP20,500 (full time equivalent) depending on skills and experience

THE COMPANY: Our client is based in Hastings and provides accountancy, audit, tax and financial advice to individuals, businesses and charities since the early 1980s. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Processor to join their team.
THE ROLE: As a Payroll Processor, you will work within the payroll team to process customers payrolls and provide peer review.
Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Processor role is to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The successful Payroll Processor will have excellent inter-personal skills with a positive, friendly and sensitive approach to people. You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You will have exceptional organisational skills with ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines in a busy office environment. You must live within a commutable distance to Hastings.

- Process client payrolls using Sagepay software
- To liaise with customers to facilitate efficient receipt and provision of data
- Assist with year-end processing and reconciliations
- Dealing with queries from client employers and their employees
- Maintain the high levels of confidentiality required
- To provide peer review of payrolls processed by colleagues as part of quality control
- To maintain knowledge of PAYE procedures, Real Time Information and Auto-Enrolment
- Actively promote activities of the Practice
- Promote best practice
- Contribute to the success of the Payroll Department
