Morson Projects are currently in the process of building a successful supportability capability; due to increased workloads we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fault Investigation Engineer to support our client's rotary wing assets.

As the Fault Investigation Engineer your role is to provide an efficient interface for technical investigations on rotary wing product parts identified between the customer and the industry for the
Fault\Accident Investigation and Warranty Claim Investigation.

Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Maintain effective control for the preparation, approval, issue, register and control of records for Fault and Warranty Investigations.
• Identify flight safety issues to the Engineering Support Manager for discussion at Helicopter Safety Committee Meetings.
• Maintain specialist knowledge in support of platform Aircraft fault investigation.
• Provide to the Customer / Stakeholders with a principle point of contact for all Narrative Fault Reports raised against the Aircraft to address in service issues
• Maintain effective partnerships with customer Accident Investigation Boards and Investigators, providing assistance, attendance at accident sites and Fault Investigation to establish the cause of the accident.
• Support through the Post Design Service (PDS) contracts with UK MoD, the completion of Fault and Warranty investigations for In-Service aircraft and components.
• Provide the co-ordinating duties for the regular Fault Investigation Progress Review meetings with stakeholders and customers. Provide updated reports regarding the status of Fault Investigations and outstanding actions to supports these meetings. Compile and issue the minutes of the meetings to stakeholders and customers.
• Provide the co-ordinating duties for the Fault Investigation Liability Panel meetings with stakeholders and customers. Provide the meeting with the rationale for the company stance in respect of the liability statement made on MF761 reports. Compile and issue the minutes of the meetings to stakeholders and customers.
• Conduct Fault Investigations to establish the cause of non-conforming equipment identified by stakeholders and customers, compile and issue a report of the pertinent facts of the investigation, recommend remedial action.
• Provide the principle point of contact and maintain a register of all Narrative Fault reports received.
• Distribute MOD form 760 information throughout the company as required and forward for entry onto the company database.
• Review incoming MOD form 760's and monitor for trends. Provide advice / background information to the customer representatives regarding investigation requirements.
• Attend and support the Aircraft 760 Airworthiness meetings as required.
• Ensure completeness and closure of tasking within SAP/CWA.
• Attend in service Technical Review meeting with Technical Support Department to discuss in service raised issues.
• Review incoming "New Aircraft" warranty rejections (i.e. Malaysia / Oman) for trends, liaise with Technical Support business managers / Specialists and advise on an appropriate course of action.
• Ensure that all Fault Investigation Reports define the pertinent facts of the investigation contain remedial action to correct the fault.
