Estimator - General Contracting
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join my client, an established private Limited Company with an excellent reputation. They are a local family company spanning three generations providing personal attention and services of the highest quality in compliance with their customers specified requirements.
They are experienced in all types of building and construction encompassing new build and refurbishment covering projects including leisure, commercial, residential, industrial, education, healthcare and conservation works. They also have a dedicated small works team dealing with general repairs, extensions and minor contracts.
They directly employ over 100 people which allows them to cover the full spectrum in all aspects of construction. Projects range in value from GBP1m- GBP6 million and my client are able to provide a full design and build service. Geographically their working area covers Dorset, Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Due to a high number of enquiries they are looking for an Estimator to join them on a permanent basis, based from their office in Bath.
This is a senior level position within the company and to be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 10 years estimating experience. You will be responsible for subcontract procurement, valuations, creating schedule of works, pricing and at times when workload is busy be able to carry out quantity surveying duties. This is a client facing role and you will be required to meet with customers on a regular basis so it is important that you remain professional at all times.
