An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Working Foreman/ Supervisor to join our team based in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Within the role, you will supervise and manage the daily operation of a housing improvement works programme whilst being responsible for a team of Operatives and Sub Contractors. Monitoring and controlling work flows, the successful Working Foreman/ Supervisor will mentor Operatives and Trainees. Carrying out post /pre-inspections, you will monitor the progress and completion of works to both Foreman and the team of Operatives. Candidates for this position will be responsible for managing the use of Sub-Contractors, ensuring they adhere to all Company standards of work performance, customer service and procedures.
With previous knowledge of Housing Improvements, measured term contracts and schedule of rates. The successful Working Foreman will hold a relevant Trade City & Guilds qualification and be a qualified Joiner coupled with experience of working in Social Housing. Ideally you will hold experience of working in partnership with a Local Authority Client, with management experience within a similar environment, however this is not essential to the role. An excellent communicator, you will possess a H&S qualification coupled with experience of supervising Operatives and Sub-Contractors. With a clear customer focus, you will be well organised with the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Moreover, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the passion to succeed in our dynamic team.
