Senior Web Developer

This role is based in their Saltash Office in the UK.

Experience working with Javascript or PHP frameworks (such as Backbone.js or Symfony) would be advantageous.

You should have at least 5 years experience in a commercial environment. Interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will be joining a supportive flexible multinational working environment, you'll have the chance to gain invaluable exposure to the latest, cutting-edge technologies including mobile web and application development on iOS, Android and other popular mobile platforms.

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing their current business software product range. In particular, you'll develop innovative and bespoke web-based features and create web applications for the company's backend database, the FileMaker Pro platform and MySQL.

You will be expected to give your input to provide the best solutions to technical challenges and to improve current systems. With a commitment to providing an outstanding level of service to customers, you'll also interact directly with our national and international clients.

You may also have the opportunity for international travel. In this challenging role, you'll have the chance to work alongside a team of Senior Developers and take on more responsibility as your role progresses. Additionally, you'll be tasked with keeping abreast of any web trends, technologies and developments within the industry. Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience.

You should have the following skills:
- PHP (5.3+), HTML and JavaScript
- OOP concepts
- Experience of C++ and the backbone and Symfony frameworks would be advantageous.
- SQL, Git
- System administration, primarily Apache and IIS configuration
