We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Pitney Bowes we are currently looking for a Finance Analyst - Sales Compensation to join our team based in Hatfield. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract and will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.

About the Finance Analyst - Sales Compensation role

You will be responsible for;

- All operational aspects of the commissions process for Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

- Working closely with the Commissions Team to ensure all business requirements are met.

- Create and manage processes for calculation using systems, excel and databases to enable accurate calculation of commissions payments for all sales levels.

In this role, you’ll join our Global Accounting Operations team based out of our office in Hatfield and you will report to International Commissions Manager.

As our Finance Analyst, your duties will be to:

- Develop and execute solutions that support growth / change

- To understand the implications for the changes to pay plans and ensure the systems are modified or created accordingly

- Shape, design and plan components of the system

- Translate commission requirements into practical and accurate automated solutions

- Work with the team to ensure all technical documentation is translated into usable, documented daily tasks

- Developing functional specifications, where required, for system enhancements and/or data requests from IT

- Working closely with IT to ensure data received is accurate, timely and in line with project plans

- Ensure all solutions are cover the end to end process and are fully tested

- Ensure calculations are accurate

- Work with Senior Sales and Finance leaders to understand their requirements both from pay plans and from reporting perspective

- To ensure agreed control process is followed prior to making any payments

- Work closely with the business globally to ensure commissions are understood, accurate and standardised in process

- A key element of this role will be the interpretation and manipulation of numerous sources of data.

- To implement process improvements in terms of automation and control

- Responsible for accurate calculation of commissions payments

- Responsible for the on-going maintenance of data used within the commissions system

What we are looking for in our Finance Analyst:

- Previous experience of working within a Sales Commission environment

- Business degree or equivalent (AAT)

- 3 “A” Levels or equivalent

- Strong excel skills to include data manipulation

- Strong Data analysis skills

- Prior knowledge of commissions systems used by other companies

- Good general knowledge of systems

- Ability to quickly understand a requirement and turn it in to process

- Ability to analyse a problem and suggest, sell and implement a solution

- Ability to manage workshops and glean requirements; fact find; process rework

- Strong planning and ability to create good working relationships with finance, sales, HR and Payroll across Europe

- Able to build credibility with management leading to a strong internal network

- Proactive, passionate and collaborative approach with strength of character to overcome resistance to process change and standardization

Preferable experience required of our Finance Analyst:

- Second European Language

- Background of financial controls and their management
