Our client is a London-based, multi-accredited training centre, which specialises in teacher training courses with a diverse course portfolio range that includes Level 2 and 3 Certificates & Diplomas in ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’.
They have prepared thousands of candidates for UK classrooms over the last ten years and are now looking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Head of Operations to build on their existing strong foundations and play a key part in delivering the company’s strategic plan to double their outreach. Position Summary
As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the company’s overall organisational programming, delivery, quality and sales. This will include inspiring and motivating learners, staff and members of the organisational community whilst providing a personal example of positive leadership. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensuring the organisation increases its sales output through supporting the Sales Consultant Team and ensuring revenue targets are achieved
• Seeking opportunities to invite learners, funders, community figures, schools, businesses and other organisations into the organisation to enrich and add value to the wider community
• Providing operational leadership to the Head of Teaching & Learning and ensure their supervision of Teachers, Internal Verifiers, Assessors and the external relationship with Awarding Bodies are well managed by them
• Providing operational leadership to HR / Finance Leads, Sales / Funding Team, Student Support Coordinator, Placement Officers and Admin / Reception Staff
• Ensuring that the appropriate training programmes are provided in centre for learners

Person Specification
It is essential that the successful candidate has a genuine passion for supporting organisations in the educational sector to thrive and develop. They will be educated to Degree level or equivalent and possess the skills and experience to make a success of the role:

• A proven ability to build relationships with partnership organisations
• To be revenue focussed ensuring the achievement of targets, and orientated to sales, marketing and promoting the company
• A proven record of inspirational and effective leadership within a previous ‘Department Head’ role or equivalent
• A clear ability to strengthen organisational processes, collate, assess and report on management data, deliver against an organisational plan and assist with steering a company to realise its strategic objectives
• Excellent communication skills, integrity and the ability to inspire, motivate and support staff and students
• Thinks and acts innovatively and creatively to improve systems and outcomes, translating strategic vision into practical and achievable plans
