IT Trainer / Software Installer – Salon Management Software 
Field Based (covering mainland UK, primarily the South) 
£25,000 Plus Van, Laptop, Mobile & Performance Related Bonus (after successful probationary period)

The Role: 

Covering mainland UK, as an IT Trainer / Software Installer, you will enjoy an interesting and varied role with as much responsibility as you are able or willing to handle. 

You will work with customers to train them and troubleshoot/resolve complex product issues and advise on best practices using our client’s product suite. 

As our client operates in the US, you may also have the chance to travel on an international basis. 

Some of your duties will include: 

- Product installations online and on-site 
- Maintaining core systems 
- Organising client setups and callouts 
- Handling client support 
- Providing software training for clients 

To be considered, you must have experience of the following: 

- Training and motivating clients 
- Working remotely but co-operatively with HQ 
- Hardware support, ideally POS hardware 
- Set-ups and configuration 
- Windows OS, Mac OSx, Small Business Networking, broadband installations and providing support 

As an IT Trainer / Software Installer, you must be a self-starter and highly motivated. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adjust quickly to changing conditions and work demands are equally important. A driving licence is also essential. 

Training: 
1 - 2 months’ systems training inc. a buddy system 
2 Weeks in Dublin 
4 weeks on the road with trainer 

Hours: 
48 hrs plus per week plus travel (early starts & stopovers included) 
4 Day week, 4 x 12 hour shifts 6am to 6pm 
Some weekend work needed for trade shows 
Shift work will be needed as our client enters the US market, so working hours may change on rotation
