Our client is currently looking for a Shopfloor Assembly Technician to work within their team. The successful candidate will assist with the assembly of autoclaves.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;
- A history within an engineering environment essential
- Must have good mechanical skills and have experience using associated tools
- Experience with brazing /soldering required as this is an essential skill needed for the role
- Fabrications/assembly of steel framework all the way through to final stage of build of Autoclaves
- Install electrical chassis and connecting of wiring looms, experience here will be of benefit but not essential
- Installation of pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Must have the ability to operate in a directed team effort and follow specific instructions but also work on own initiative
- Read schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
- Must be detail oriented
- Enthusiasm and a sense of humour
- Professional demeanour and appearance
- Ability to plan, set and meet deadlines
Tools & Equipment used;
- Hand tools
- Air tools
- Braizing
- M.IG. T.I.G Welding
- Pallet trolleys
- Pillar drills
- Bench grinders
The successful candidate must be fit and healthy as the position can at times require a large amount of physical activity.
