Purpose of the Role:

  • Management of the client portfolio through periodic reviews, analysis of Management information and compliance of client operating conditions.
  • Deliver outstanding client service.
  • Outstanding communication and team working skills, internally and externally.
  • Accurate processing of client payment.
  • Works closely with the Relationship Manager to fully understand and implement the agreed strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work together with and support the credit controllers to achieve agreed standards and targets.
  • Customer Service is responsible for delivering the highest levels of customer service and ensuring that the needs of the client are met.
  • Risk is responsible for all aspects of the client ledger, authorising payment.
  • Effective communication skills - internally and externally.
  • Any other duties or projects commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role, for which the role holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

Key Skills:

  • Communications - Maintain a high level of professional conduct with internal and external customers via face to face, on the phone, on email and in written communication.
  • Customer Service - Relationship building, provides excellent customer service and understands needs of customers and colleagues. Highlights issues and opportunities on the portfolio to the Relationship Manager.
  • Risk Management - Implements and monitors agreed risk standards and highlights any issues to the Relationship Manager or other teams, as appropriate.
  • Monitors ops conditions, completes risk factor reports & monthly portfolio review
  • Numeracy - Displays an above average ability to work with numbers
  • IT Skills - competent user of all relevant Risk systems i.e. Risk Factor
  • Collaboration - with Client Service Teams and New Business colleagues to achieve KPI's and Sales Targets
  • Decision Making - Takes responsibility for analysing key, relevant facts to come to a thorough and balanced decision or recommendation
  • Organisational skills - prioritises work, plans ahead and keeps to deadlines.
  • Product Knowledge - Understands key features of all Bibby's products. Maximises the profitability of allocated portfolio through applying the appropriate fee structure and generating income through offering additional services

Requirements of the role:

  • Experience - Managing a portfolio of clients, customer service experience, understanding and identifying the needs of the client
  • Knowledge - invoice finance knowledge
  • Skills - Good organisation & time management, risk aware, outstanding communication

Desirable for the role:

  • Experience -Insolvency knowledge, risk
  • Skills - Financial basic knowledge
  • Qualifications - ABFA
