Highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Software Applications Engineer with a respected name in the provision of wireless products and services for advanced communications and multimedia technologies.
As well as excellent customer facing skills you must have strong knowledge of mobile OS's such as Linux Android and QNX as well as having experience of main ARM processor architectures and instructions set.
Qualified to Degree level in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar, the ideal candidate will be a tenacious self-starter with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; coming from a software product development or support engineering background.
The successful Senior Software Applications Engineer will provide technical support throughout all phases of the design cycle, to European customers developing products on the company's platforms, with an emphasis on Board Support package, Operating Systems and peripherals.
It would also be beneficial to have some knowledge of scripting languages, storage technologies and serial protocols and to have experience with JTAG debugging on ARM assembly language.
