Salary: £17,266 - £17,960 pa inc.
Location: Redbridge
Job Type: 37 hours

We offer a different approach to providing day opportunities and we are looking for exceptional people to add to our experienced and diverse staff team which provide community based support to people with a range of learning and physical disabilities, including autism, some of whom can display challenging behaviours.

Our person centred programme is varied and stimulating and activities involve all aspects of the local community, health, education and leisure. Everyday is different and you will need to be creative and flexible, to ensure the service we deliver continues to meets the needs of the people who use it. The work can be demanding but very rewarding.

You will have a positive attitude to community integration and understand the importance of service user empowerment and choice. Experience in key working, developing individualised support plans and promoting positive risk taking is required.

You will be working full-time, 37 hours per week. You must be willing to be flexible, work well in a team situation, able to use your initiative and be an effective communicator.

A qualification in care is required and it is expected that all staff who own a valid current UK driving licence will be expected to drive the service mini-bus.
