Distribution Manager - Norfolk - GBP34,000 - GBP38,000I recruiting for a Distribution Manager on an exclusive basis for my client, this is a really exciting time to join the business as they heavily invest across the warehouse and you will play a vital role in shaping the function moving forward.If you are looking for a role where you can really make your mark on a business then this is it, over the next 12 months my client has highlighted a number of improvement projects such as implementing a new WMS system, layout and automation for which you will have a major part from conception through to completion. Your overall responsibility will be to manage the day to day activity of the distribution centre ensuring targets are met whilst driving improvements through the continual review of processes.You will;* Work closely with logistics to manage delivery schedules* Ensure operating costs are in-line with agreed KPI's* Manage courier relationships* Oversee temporary labour * Manage health & safety and ensure compliance * Have overall accountability for inventory, overseeing stock counts and creating reports.To be successful in this role you need to be a strong manager, be able to demonstrate where you have orchestrated improvements across a warehouse environment and the ability to work under your own initiative.Apply today by submitting your CV via the website or call Rob on
