The Company:
Our client is a vertically integrated provider of specialised electronics systems and components that meet the critical needs in the homeland security, healthcare, defence and aerospace industries. 

They focus on Electronics Manufacturing Services, and manufacture products for professional & technical clients within a variety of market sectors including broadcast, industrial, medical, security, agricultural and transport infrastructure. 

Their services range from PCB assembly right through to complete product build including full functional test.

Due to their continued growth, they now have a new opportunity for a Quotations Specialist to join their successful team.

The Quotations Specialist Role:
The primary purpose of this Quotations Specialist role is to generate full turnkey quotations, including labour and material costs and lead times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate turnkey quotations using customer supplied files and internal quoting software
• Extensive product knowledge of electronic component distribution business
• Knowledge of bill-of material and part numbering formats
• Ability to manipulate/convert different file types (i.e. Excel, Word, Text) to standardised formats required for software importation
• Interface with customers in order to obtain appropriate computer files and documents

Experience & Attributes Required:

• Proven experience within a similar Quotations role
• Comfortable working in fast paced environment
• Able to build rapport with suppliers with proven experience of managing suppliers/customers
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing organisation helpful
• Strong IT skills required (Word, Excel, Windows, ERP systems)
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
