A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a newly or recently graduated Physical Chemist to Join the world’s leader in the development and production of inks, dyes and functional coatings.

We are looking for an experienced Physical Chemist to work with our client’s R & D and formulation teams to help test the properties of materials that are used in out formulation and in conjunction with their products.

Position Summary
As Physical Chemist, your key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with different technical teams
• Application of own scientific knowledge in problem solving situations
• To help and develop the scientific skill levels of teams working within the projects
• To manage own workload toward hitting deadlines
• Regular communication on work carried out
• Testing formulation and interaction with other materials to specification

What you’ll need
The successful candidate will have the following background:

• A degree in Chemistry/Physics or a related discipline
• Good verbal, organisational and written communications skills.
• An understanding of testing and analytical principles
• Good colour vision
• Be able to provide accurate and timely reports on key issues and key statistics
