We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our team based in Brighton. Within the role, you will assist the Project Managers and Supervisors within the Planned Maintenance department in delivering various programmes of work. Undertaking administrative duties in relation to the installation of doors, windows, replacement roofs and external and internal decorations and repairs.
Liaising with the Planned Works Team, you will ensure that the administration of the branch is operating in a way to provide maximum support to the other functions within the branch. Updating spreadsheets and databases, you will be responsible for the data input of worksheets coupled with controlling and recording of payroll timesheets/ sub-contractor billing. Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, you will be responsible for phone answering and liaising with internal and external customers to make certain that commitments are kept.
Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level in English and Math’s, you will be a proficient user of IT and be capable of using MS Office packages. The successful candidate will be able to use general office equipment with a willingness to learn and use new skills. Above all, we are looking for a confident and positive individual, who is able to succeed in our dynamic team.
This position is one year full time contract position with the potential to progress to a permanent position
