Service Engineer

A vacancy has arisen within HPC Compressed Air Systems for an experienced service engineer, primarily working throughout the Midlands, based at either our Birmingham or Nottingham centres.

The main duties of the role are to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HPC/KAESER products including industrial air compressors, blowers, and road mobiles as well as ancillary products such as central control systems, inverter drives, dryers and filtration. These products range widely in size from 1kW to 515kW. To carry out these duties the applicant will be required to diagnose faults, identify parts required and effect the repairs as quickly as possible to the client’s satisfaction. At HPC we pride ourselves on providing the highest service levels in the industry so a keen eye for detail and a conscientious approach will be essential.

The successful applicant should be a multi-skilled engineer, ideally with previous experience in compressed air or similar industries. With the ability to work on their own initiative and to demonstrate the customer care skills necessary to service HPC’s established customer base and give support to HPC’s distributor network. The applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach to working hours. Full training will be given.

HPC are offering a competitive salary with company benefits including paid overtime when available, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company sick pay, pension scheme and private medical insurance after a qualifying period.
