Contracts Manager - Leeds - GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 & Car/Allowance & Package

My client are a leading D&B fit out company based in Leeds they have appointed me in charge of recruiting their business critical role of a Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. This is an immediate requirement for one of the market leaders specialising in high end, bespoke office interior fit out projects.

Projects are located in on a nationwide basis. My client have a full order book for the next 12 months as a minimum. Sectors that my client work within include traditional and d&b projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience at Contracts Management level, be process and procedurally driven and have a keen eye for detail. The successful individual will be an energetic problem solver with a strong design and build background who can communicate on all levels. They need to be able to co-ordinate and manage on site staff as well as clients, be attentive and have excellent communication skills.

The Contracts Manager will be expected to manage sites between GBP200,00 - GBP2,500,000. Average job value between GBP700,000 - GBP900,000. All projects have to be completed to high calibre specifications/finishes and have to be signed off by the client to say you have met their requirements. The Contracts Manager will report into the Operation Manager on a bi weekly basis.

My client are open to the background of the Contracts Manager however, any applicant MUST be able to price and cost their own work as they will be responsible for the pre contract and profit margin for each of their sites.

The Contracts Manager will split their week between site and the office so any applicant must be in commutable distance (under an hour)to Leeds. The week is usually split 3 days in the office and 2 days out visiting clients and site.

Projects are split 40% traditional and 60% D&B. The Contracts Manager will be expected to create their own programmes for their sites and control all aspects of client relationship management.
