Kitchen Assistant

INTRODUCTION: An opportunity to work for are a young, fun catering company, who serve breakfast and lunch from their kitchen/caf??. They are a succesful outside / event catering company, who have a cafe in Fulham, which requires someone to support the Chef in preparing meals / sandwiches etc and helping to serve at the counter. They are very good at training and developing the right person.SALARY ETC:* The basic salary is GBP13-15K, with the opportunity to earn more by working at any of our outside catering events.* Mon-Fri from 9am-4pm* Location: Fulham, London OTHER DETAILS:* The cafe offers a variety of Soups, Sandwiches and a daily hot dish as well, which changes daily and offers a variety of cuisines.* Number of covers (seasonal but 20 to 70 covers)* Will be an open Kitchen so needs to be smart and able to speak with customers.* Our menu changes daily, which enables us to be constantly creative and seasonal.* Size of Brigade 4 Chefs* It is an open Kitchen FOH / BOH - will be on show and serving customers as well.REQUIREMENTS:* Food Hygiene Certificate* Experience gained in a similar operation such as a Cafe / Restaurant* Good communications skills and well presented* Warm, Friendly and confident individual* Enthusiastic, competent and keen to learn..
