My client are a FTSE 250 business providing facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They have revenues in excess of GBP1.8bn and a reputation for being the best in their business.
They are currently looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Engineer, responsible for the maintenance of various types of air conditioning systems on behalf of a major client to cover the Thames Valley area.
Main duties
- Carry out fault finding, reactive maintenance and PPM, mainly on close control units (CCU) and DX units (CCU), but also other air conditioning systems.
- This is a mobile role, to cover various offices across mainly the Thames Valley; Oxford, Reading, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Newbury.
- Other M&E duties as and when required, including maintenance on lighting & generators, for example.
Person Specification
- F Gas Qualification.
- Able to demonstrate a technical understanding of various air conditioning systems.
- Ideally should have served time as an apprenticeship or followed a recognised formal training programme (eg NVQ level 2 & 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration).
- Full driving licence.
