Estimator
Estimator - Hertford - GBP110-150 per day
Our client a busy specialist sub contractor based near Hertford are urgently seeking an estimator to join them on an initial temporary basis.
Working closely with the Business development manager, this company are securing high volumes of work and are seeking someone capable of working independently showing their desire to follow a career as an estimator over the long term. For the right candidate there is a lot of future scope for either longer term extension or permanent opportunities.
The successful Estimator will be responsible for:
- Preparing cost estimates
- Working closely with the business development manager and senior Estimator
- Providing accurate costings on sub contract work packages
The successful Estimator is required to:
- Show good communication and negotiation skills
- Have good IT skills (Excel, Word Windows XP)
- Be immediately available
