Software Engineer

Norbar Torque Tools Ltd., the world leading torque tool manufacturer has a vacancy for an experienced individual to join our IT team.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To execute full life cycle software development from concept, to implementation to end user training.

KEY TASKS:

1) To develop life cycle software and train relevant employees of Norbar.

2) To write well designed, testable, efficient code.

3) To produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.

4)To document and maintain software functionality.

5) To tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics.

You will have a degree level qualification or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant field with proven development experience in a Windows environment using SQL Server and C++ and web development with ASP.net.

You will have excellent IT and coding ability, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team to support the Company.

In return for a 38 1/2 hour week we can offer a starting salary in the range GBP38,000-GBP44,000 depending on skills and experience.
