My client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy renowned for its rich knowledge and experience dating back to 1990. This company consist of highly academic and trained ecologists supplying a wide range of ecological services including: wildlife surveying (including phase 1 habitat and protected species, BREEAM assessments, ecological contracting and Environmental Impact Assessments. This client is dedicated to delivering exceptional ecological services in good environmental practice and are looking for experienced ecologists to join their team and carry on the good work in their Bath office.

Requirements

- At degree in Ecology, Zoology or a related environmental discipline
- At least one Protected Species license
- Full/Associate CIEEM membership
- At least 3 years' post-graduate experience within an environmental or ecological consultancy
- Extended Phase 1 habitat survey skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to mentor less experienced team members
- Strong IT skills
- Experienced in running small projects
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving license

Responsibilities

- Carrying out field work e.g. surveying environmental conditions, plant and, animals
- Design and deliver Bat specific surveys for a variety of projects
- managing wildlife conservation
- report writing
- liaising with clients, office and sub consultants
- knowledge of new environmental policies and legislation
- analysing and interpreting data, using specialist software programs
