Job Title: Human Resource (HR) Business Manager

Salary: GBP50,000

Location: Halesowen

The purpose of the job as Human Resource (HR) Business Manager -

* Work in partnership with managers in the Trust's member schools to provide a professional HR and organisation development service that is customer focused and drives performance improvement.
* Review and streamline HR processes and procedures across the trust
* Ensure that HR transactional activities are undertaken effectively and efficiently across the Trust.

The successful Human Resource (HR) Business Manager will have the following skills/experience:

* Professionally qualified - either MCIPD, CIPD or broad based business qualification supported by practical HR experience in all aspects of HR, including reward, employee relations/engagement, recruitment/resourcing and training and & development
* Experience or working in and/or an interest in/knowledge of the education sector within a multi-academy trust
* Experience of working in an unionised environment including collective consultation and negotiation processes
* Up-to-date knowledge of good practice, current thinking, trends and developments in HR
* Knowledge of the relevant and appropriate legal an regulatory framework including TUPE and external bodies and agencies that legislate, proved advice and support, or have a potential impact on the Trust
* Experience of staff management
* Excellent communications skills, sound analytical and creative and pragmatic problems solving skills with high ethical standards
