My client is looking to recruit a Commercial / Contracts professional to join their Commercial Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company works within relevant legal and regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities will include: Provide day to day support to Business Development, Project Management and Procurement teamsEnsure Group contracting principles and other related commercial policies are being observedProvide commercial support in the development of the Solutions Software applications business including generation of agreements, third party licensing, end user licensing and IPR issuesProvide support to the business in relation to Trade Controls; import / export, overseas travel and trading, ITAR; implementation of policies and proceduresEnsure ethical procedures are being observed in relation to the Bribery Act and related due diligence is being undertakenProvide commercial management of proposals and contracts working within Group contracting principlesLiaise with Finance department in relation to financial matters directly related to contractual and commercial queriesProvide commercial support to Business Management in the Bid Process in relation to cost model evaluation, legal and contractual support and risk assessment. Provide input to bid documentation and reviewEnsure the Bid Process is followed and Governance Documents produced to evidence due diligence and delegated authority at the appropriate levels have been consulted and authorisation received prior to submission of the bid Essential Skills and Experience: Ideally educated to Degree level in a Business / Commercial related discipline, however candidates who hold A 'Levels, HNC or HND qualifications in Business Studies would also be considered.2 to 4 years commercial experience gained within a commercial contracts office or environmentStrong commercial acumen and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a small team is essential. The ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders is also essentialAn eagerness to develop and progress your career within the Commercial Contracts environment.
