++ We are currently recruiting for an IT Sales Account Manager for a growing managed IT support company ++

Applicants are preferred to have proven sales experience within the IT industry, preferably managed IT support, and have been accountable for the full sales cycle - from sourcing and lead generation, through to presentation and closing the sale.

The role will be to conduct office/telephone-based account management of our customers, as well as cold calling for new business to continually grow the account base. You will need a good, current understanding of IT technology and be keen to learn more. Although you will primarily be based in the office and dealing with your business over the phone, your role might also possibly involve some visits to client sites if and when required.

The role will suit individuals who currently supply Support Services, IT Services, Technical Office Equipment, IT Hardware, Software and IT Security, - all of which the company supply. It will be your role to identify and generate new prospects and convert them into accounts, develop and manage these accounts to their full potential.

Key qualities required for the position:

+ A proven IT sales track record is preferred
+ A keen interest in technology
+ A natural ability to build customer rapport & trust
+ Self-motivation and ambition
+ The ability to manage time and workload
+ Natural business acumen
+ Experience of selling at senior levels within a company preferred
+ A proven ability to develop and close business opportunities

The salary on offer is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience and it also has an uncapped commission package.
