Senior Internal Auditor (Temporary) | Full Audit Cycle + Manage & Dire

A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a prominent public sector body in Guildford.The organisation has created a new team to improve internal processes and procedures, and needs an experienced audit professional to spearhead and champion Best Practice across the business.The role is temporary with an immediate start and no fixed end date. There is the possibility of a permanent position further down the line for the right candidate.GBP18-23 per hour, depending on experience.The CompanyA large, well known public sector organisation based in Guildford.The RoleReporting to the Audit Manager, you will ensure the successful completion of assigned audit engagements from start to finish, inclusive of preplanning and wrap up activities. Managing and directing the daily activities of more junior auditors, you will apply risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered and identify potential issues.
